Touhulan saneerausohjelma on hyväksytty

Touhula vietiin yrityssaneeraukseen taloudellisten vaikeuksien vuoksi toukokuussa 2020. Saneerausmenettelyn aikana yhtiö on rakentanut ohjelman, jolla velkoja voidaan maksaa takaisin velkojien hyväksymällä tavalla sekä suunnitellut polun kannattavaan toimintaan. Touhulassa on tehty useita kannattavuustoimenpiteitä muun muassa sulkemalla kannattamattomia päiväkoteja, tehostamalla hallintoa sekä suoraviivaistamalla organisaatiota ja johtamisjärjestelmää. Näiden toimenpiteiden pohjalta yhtiö teki saneerausohjelman, joka jätettiin käräjäoikeudelle hyväksyttäväksi syyskuussa 2021.

Touhulan saneerausohjelma hyväksyttiin käräjäoikeudessa 9.11.2021. Tämä tarkoittaa sitä, että yhtiö on nyt saneerattu ja velkojat ovat hyväksyneet suunnitelman. Saneerausmenettely on siis Touhulan osalta päättynyt ja toiminta jatkuu entistä kestävämmällä pohjalla. Toimintaansa jatkavat päiväkodit ovat mukana maksuvaralaskelmassa, joka kattaa vuodet 2022–2028.

Yhtiö on käynyt läpi raskaan saneerausvaiheen. Touhulassa on jouduttu tehdä ikäviä päätöksiä ja sulkemaan monta laadukasta, mutta taloudellisesti kannattamatonta päiväkotia. Tämä työ on ollut välttämätöntä Touhulan tulevaisuuden turvaamiseksi. Läpi tämän vaikean ajan yhtiössä on keskitytty sen perustehtävään, tuottamaan laadukasta varhaiskasvatusta. Upean henkilökunnan ansiosta Touhulassa on onnistuttu jatkuvasti kasvattamaan luottamusta asiakkaiden keskuudessa. Kahden viimeisen vuoden aikana Touhulan asiakastyytyväisyys on noussut sekä päiväkoti- että yhtiötasolla. Myös varhaiskasvatushakemusten määrä on tällä hetkellä korkeimmalla tasolla kahteen vuoteen. Touhulassa jatketaan nyt entistä vahvempana mission ”Luomassa onnellista lapsuutta” toteuttamista.

Touhula’s restructuring program has been approved

Touhula was taken to corporate restructuring due to financial difficulties in May 2020. During the restructuring process, the company has built a program to repay the creditors in a manner approved by the creditors and planned a path to profitable operations. Touhula has taken a number of profitability measures, including closing unprofitable daycare centres, streamlining administration, the organization and management system. Based on these measures, the company implemented a restructuring program, which was submitted to the district court for approval in September 2021.

Touhula’s restructuring program was approved in the district court on November 9th, 2021. This means that the company has now been restructured and the plan has been approved by creditors. The reorganization procedure for Touhula has thus ended and operations will continue on an even more sustainable basis. The daycare centres that will continue to operate are included in the premium calculation, which covers the years 2022–2028.

The company has gone through a difficult phase of restructuring. Tough and unpleasant decisions have had to be made and many high-quality, yet economically unprofitable daycare centres have been closed. This has been necessary to secure the future of Touhula. Through this difficult time, the company has focused on its core mission of providing quality early childhood education. Thanks to the wonderful staff, Touhula has succeeded in constantly increasing trust among customers. Over the past two years, Touhula’s customer satisfaction has increased at both the daycare centre and company level. The number of early childhood education applications is also currently at its highest level in two years.

In Touhula, the mission ”Creating happy Childhood” will continue to be carried out even stronger.
