Getting busy with the kids, naturally! I’m working with three-to-five-year-olds, and as you can imagine, we get our fair share of hustle and bustle. No two days in a week are really the same. At times it’s full steam ahead, and sometimes we end up pondering really deep issues with the kids.
It’s a large company, but one that keeps developing as well as growing, and one that trains and develops their staff too.
Having fun and the spirit of getting things done. We must provide diverse activities and action every day. Safe and caring adults and lasting friendships are important as well.
The kids in my group are great personalities, truly charming little individuals. One is an explorer and a thinker, the other constantly on the move, and a third one is sensitive and emotional. Each one is wonderful in their own special way.
Together with the staff, we will engage the children in planning activities more than before. I get to continue working with top people and fantastic professionals – these are plentiful in this company.
Truly memorable moments in my career here have been those that relate to putting the children’s wishes into practice – we’ve cared for a dog, visited a garage to see how a car works, and learned how to cut fish. The joy reflected in a kid’s eyes when we fulfil their particular wish is wonderful, the best there is.
