  Touhula Lappeenrannan Kampus is a language-focused daycare centre located on the campus of LUT University. Opened in January 2019, the centre benefits from a vibrant multicultural environment that supports language learning and cultural awareness. Its location also provides connections to the academic community and access to the opportunities offered by the university campus.

  The language theme can be seen in everyday activities, helping children develop their communication and language skills through songs, rhymes, stories, and shared reading moments. In our multicultural daycare community, interpreter services are also available for families when needed, including during parent-teacher meetings and other discussions.

• Touhula Tirilä

  Touhula Tirilä is a movement-focused daycare centre that opened in January 2017. Designed to support an active lifestyle, the centre features equipment such as wall bars, a rope course, and a popular climbing wall. Children are introduced to both traditional games and new sports, making physical activity a natural and enjoyable part of everyday life.

  Learning and movement extend beyond the daycare centre walls. The surrounding area is regularly used for excursions and outdoor activities, and during winter, children enjoy skiing and ice skating. The daycare centre works closely with a nearby ice arena and local sports clubs. Club representatives regularly visit the centre, and children have opportunities to watch team training sessions and learn about different sports. Our staff continuously develop their expertise in physical education, and families are encouraged to join in promoting an active lifestyle.
