The best thing in my work is the daily encounters with the kids

What is Touhula like as an employer?

You could describe Touhula as an employer that keeps up with the times, is always looking to develop itself, and succeeds well in this development aim. I’m happy to be one of the Touhula people.

What things are important to Touhula staff?

What matters to us is what matters to the children – good relationships with friends, safe and warm-hearted adults. And play, the joy of exercise and great experiences, of course.

Describe the children’s group you’re working in?

The group is filled with creativity, emotion, happiness, and movement – and believe it or not – Monday through Friday, every single day. The kids have amazing personalities.

What are your expectations for the coming year?

I’m looking forward to the new projects that will bring creativity and joy.

What does the future hold for Touhula?

Any daycare centre reflects its children and its adults. We get to make good on the promise made to customers: our values and the ECEC plan always present and visible in everything we do.

What is the most memorable moment in your career in Touhula?

Definitely the amazing results of the customer satisfaction survey. I’m so thankful for them.

The funniest memory in your Touhula career

Without a doubt, the one time we went shopping to the local Prisma store with the preschoolers. The kids went back and forth in the aisles, holding shopping lists, and bravely asking for help from the store staff. They received a lot of attention – smiles and encouraging words from both the store’s personnel and other shoppers. We found everything we needed and packed our shopping bags as is the fashion. It was a touching and fun trip for everyone involved.
