Ylivieska
Our nature-themed daycare centre Touhula Villiina is located in Toivonpuisto, Ylivieska.
Our location is excellent concerning field trips and adventures in the nature: the daycare centre is right next to a forest and other nature locations are nearby.
Our daycare operates in a house, which provides a homely and safe atmosphere for the kids to play around, rest and learn. At Touhula Villiina we value peacefulness and calmness. We want to offer the kids time, caring and kindness.
In Touhula Nature Early Childhood Education and Care, we implement experimental environment education. We strengthen children’s positive relationship with nature and their responsibilities as responsible citizens, as well as guide them in creating a sustainable lifestyle.
We emphasize the importance of experimental learning in nature. We create space and time for children’s own ideas and learning environmental responsibility. We are learning new things about nature all the time, and we support children’s enthusiasm and their ability to live in the moment and enjoy nature. We do small but brave everyday acts in order to help animals and nature.
In our Touhula Nature daycare centres, children are developed into citizens, who take good care of our environment and themselves.
