Early Childhood Education and Care of Touhula Move involves a lot of physical movement. We encourage children to move in varied and creative ways during the day. Physical movement is present in all areas of learning, and we discuss with children about the importance of movement, rest and good relationships to wellbeing and health. Children are allowed to express themselves daily, try their own limits and experience feelings of success through physical movement. There is always time and space for natural moving and play outdoors and indoors. We promise to families that children experience the joy of movement daily. Touhula daycare centres in Espoo are introducing service vouchers from 1 August 2021. The service voucher is earnings-related, and the amount of the fee also depends on the child’s care period and the size of the family.

As of 1 August 2021, our daycare centre uses the service voucher of City of Espoo and a customer fee determined according to income. If necessary, the family submits income information directly to the City of Espoo’s early childhood education services.
At Touhula, we operate during the day in small groups in which each child is seen and heard as a unique individual. The childrens’ guardians also have an opportunity to be genuinely present and help fulfil their children’s needs.
The TouGo application is the primary tool for contacting the daycare centre about everyday issues concerning a child.

The Moomin Language School application enables children to participate in 5 to 15 minutes a day of playful language-learning exercises, created by experts for the development of all aspects of language learning. Every detail of the application has been carefully considered in order to support learning.
Teachers can adapt flexible play-session plans to the needs of their own groups. The Moomin Language School application also monitors each child’s learning in real-time reports open to both teachers and parents.
